Anti-Bullying Law? Not good enough!

You know what? What our country is doing about bullying in our schools reminds me of our so typical "mushroom society." If you keep us in the dark long enough and feed us a bunch of crap... we will get over it and go on with our lives.

Well... I'm sorry. But this isn't good enough for me, when someone asked me for help!

Here is the most educational link on the matter I could find.

http://www.schoolsecurity.org/trends/bullying.html

Michigan already has a "policy" against bullying. So we are not getting any help at all. Either each state takes it upon themselves to have an anti-bullying law or the rug is still going to be there waiting to have more examples swept underneath!

What is happening with health care is a good example of what anti-bullying laws will become once they finally get some attention.

OMGosh.. don't EVEN get me started on insurance and THOSE bullies!!!

It is the well-to-do people against the weak... and always will be.

Meanwhile, school budgets are still cut while state lotteries and taxes run high!

I think this just helped me make up my mind as to what I am going to do with this letter.

The meeting about recent bullying in our schools and the very things this letter wanted to call to my attention was held today, but not open to the public, so tomorrow, I'm going to contact our school district and ask what happened in this "closed" meeting they supposedly had... and if I don't get an answer...

I am going public with the anonymous letter I received.

It is time to take out the rugs and shake them a bit.
